Receiving proper healthcare services in accordance with the latest global know-how, and benefiting from the knowledge and skills of experienced physicians and advanced facilities and equipment are the rights and the needs of every human being. But it is very costly to equip and set up a medical center, and in some areas with a small population, cost outweighs the benefits. The issue is much more acute and glaring in case of ophthalmology services, as provision and maintenance of the equipment needed for an ophthalmology surgery is hugely expensive. Thus, patients living in remote areas and in villages are required to travel to major cities to receive ophthalmology services. This commuting also requires expenditure of time and money, leaving a lot of people in need, denied of these services and spending their lives with vision problems or even blindness.

By setting up mobile clinics, people will be able to access the best possible facilities for their treatment, and also, those colleagues wishing to spend some of their time in charitable and non-profit activities can do so by providing medical services for the poor and those living in remote areas.

Therefore, by designing, building, and deploying mobile units consisting of ophthalmology clinics, eye surgery, and dental unit (transportable to where needed), we have attempted to be pioneers in the country by delivering charitable diagnostic and treatment services to fellow Iranians,
